440 six pack fuel line troubles

I just finished my build and after starting it I've got a fuel leak on the front carbuerators t brass fitting. Ive tried tape and I've tried reinstalling the fuel line. Nothing seems to work. Any help would be appreciated. Thx.

I would look for a crack in the tube flare.

If it's not cracked, rub some Dial bar soap on the threads and such. Reassemble and toss the Teflon tape directly in the trash. Done.

The above is correct. The only thing "sealant" does is to lube the fitting so that it can be tightened further. The flare itself is what seals the fitting, not the threads. Examine the inside of the flare for damage both the tube and the fitting.

These should be "double" flared, by the way, to prevent the end from splitting.
