1976 D100 question.

I have an automatic trans in my truck which needs a steering column. I have another 76 but it is three speed on the column. Will that column work at all on the automatic?

my blue 76 is a three speed automatic. The column in my blue truck needs replaced. My black 76 is 3 on tree. I'm not saying I can just put the one from the black truck into the blue truck and it's done. The shifting mechanism is different on the trucks. Is there a way to swap out the mechanism so it can work for the blue automatic truck

You could use it if you went to a floor shifter. Otherwise I think any cordoba Volare, Van auto column should work or could be adapted very easy
