93 Ramcharger no 3rd or OD

93 Ramcharger 4x4 with the 727 I believe... will only shift first and second, no third or overdrive. Any ideas on what it might be? Maybe some thing as simple as the torque converter lock out electronics? Or most likely will have to pull and tear down? I don't have many details as I am considering buying the RC and fixing it up and just want to know if it's a lost cause.

Yep it's fried. Rebuild is maybe $1000-$1500. Depends on what hard parts it needs.

I would figure more like $2500 unless you are planning to do it yourself 800-1000 in parts. Must replace the converter, rebuild kit, solenoids, upgrades
