A body 8 3/4 questions
OK all, I working on putting an 8 3/4 from a B body into an A Body. Since I have the bango, axles and all, I really don't want to spend MORE money on another A body one. So here are my questions.
Since I am shortening it: What is the width of the A Body axle? I know the track width, perch width, etc but not the axle width and a solid measuring point.
Who is a good axle outfit: Right now I am looking at DutchBro's in Portland since I am on the west coast.
Please give me your thoughts on this issue -
Charles

What year B body is it out of. Some guys have used STOCK B body axles out of earlier B bodies (before 69? forgot) by simply using different rear wheels and re-positioning the perches

Here is the site I have been using for lenghts. (http://www.planethoustonamx.com/main...4_rearends.htm) I have measuse my 8 1/4 and ot seems to fit.
As for using new/old 8 3/4 with wheels. What I plan on doing is using factory rallye wheels, so I want o go to factory specs
