Ballast question
Hello Mopar Maniacs, How hot should my ballast get at idle on my 72 Charger. Can't keep my fingers on it for long. Just got engine running in car after rebuild, can not take car on road yet. Only can run it in the driveway. Ran good though. To: 440Roadrunner, read many of your responses on this issue. Good info! Thanks DGB

its made for doing popcorn. LOL. but DO get two new ones and put in the glove box. heat and cold tend to knock them out.

It was/is called a "burnbox" for a reason. It's a resistor (2 separate ones actually on a 72) think about was it does, or rather how it does it. If you need to check it, it has to be cold and use a ohm meter. Archer |
