Short to Ground

Hello, I am having issues with my 1984 D150 signal lights, the right one. When I turn it on all the lights blink and when the headlights are on the lights stay on without blinking.
I found the culprit wire(s) that are shorting but not sure what they go to. The pick attached is the wire where it has a factory weld of 2 wires, 1 from Battery and 2 (one with a 4 way Fusible Link) into the firewall connector. When I disconnect the main wire from Battery the short is resolved. What doe these 5 wires going to the firewall connector go to? How do you release the wires from the firewall connector? The firewall connector does not seem to have a way of removing from the engine compartment, any tricks?
