Bed Rails

Looking to put some nice wooden bed rails on the side of my 72 D200. Is there a kit out there or should I plan on making them myself?

I haven't seen a kit out there for them (doesn't mean they don't exsist though) but I'd build them myself if you have the tools and know-how. Depending on the color of the truck, the shape its in, and how its used there are some woods that may really bring it to life.

I haven't found any. Thinking I will have to make them myself. It will be a good look for the truck.

Do you have any pictures of the truck?

Once I see the truck, I'll have a better idea about what wood to use and what color stain. You should be able to get your hands on anything from pine, walnut, black walnut, birtch, oak, red oak, ash maple....
