I would imagine that the fabrication budget will kill a good portion of the savings you would enjoy with using Chevy Power.

But, you do with what you have....that is what Hot Rodding is all about, right?

It's a Tall Deck 468.

I didn't clear the steering linkage, steering box was ok (thanks to the offset in these cars). Converted it to front steer with a rack and pinion.

Why are most guys so scared of this? Like I said before a hd in a honda doesn't bother me at all, shi! I would do it.

Maybe that should be my next project. Find a hd guy with to much money that likes the look a of fat boy and put a honda in it.

This guy has owned the hd for 15years, been through a half dozen evo powerplants and never go out of the 11's. You all know what it cost to put a hd powerplant in the low 10's and it's a lot more than a honda.

[quote=cam;37722]Hello,

I am getting ready to put a Big Block Chevy in a 1973 Dodge Dart. Has anyone ever seen this done? Not really a mopar guy, but it's for a friend.

Have you been drinking the lake water? Chevy motor in a Mopar....Ronny Sox is rolling in his grave

I would think that headers would have to be custom made, there is a company (can't think of it right off the top of my head) that makes headers to put big block chrysler in a bodies. Thought of pulling the 440 out of the motorhome and putting in my Dart but am rebuilding the 273 instead.
