differential with posi
i need to get it rebuilt theres alot of slack in it now and i can hear it rumbling when im coming to a stop. how much do you think its going to cost me i looked at it and i dont even see how it comes apart its a 69 differential if that helps

What size is the dif? if its an 8 3/4 then it pulls out the front of the dif and if you look from the back it looks solid. If i remember right then you have to pull out the rear axles from the side before pulling the gears out the case.

yea see im only 17 but i remeber my dad saying that the axels pull out the sides

no problems, I was 17 when I had to replace my rear dif gasket (only 3 years ago). get under the car and look at the dif case. If it apears solid from the back and there are bolts in the front then it is an 8 3/4 just as mine is. You can pick up a dif from the junk yard for like $75-$100. Where are you located? If your close to me, I could probably find one
