I am in dire need of water pump bolts for a 318 I pulled out of a 78 W100. The original bolts are pretty crusty and every set I find online are for newer 318s and won’t work. The older bolts have to be longer because the alt and PS bracket use the same bolts.

Does anyone know where I could get correct length bolts or what type of bolt (torque ability, metal, length, thread count) to use if I need to make my own?

May just have to measure the best you can, and order some from Grainger supplys or McMaster-Carr.

Dont hold me to it, but ill take a guess they are around 5X3/8-18 or or 6X3/8-18 NOT 100% sure...

i always try soaking them in white vinegar for a day or two and then taking a copper wire wheel to it attached to a drill. if that doesnt clean it up, to the store i go lol!
