Boom

1986 D150 318 Auto

Started engine, warm-up cycle...all good and then boom, top of radiator literally exploded
Maybe bad thermostat, rad cap...not sure.

Engine stopped dead. Let it sit a bit. Went to fie her up and vapor locked. Removed all plugs, cleaned them, cranked her over a number of times. Some coolant came out of the rear cylinder spark plug holes.

Re-installed plugs, fired right up. Lots of white smoke.

Got her in the air dumped the oil. Milky.

Blown head gasket or worse?

Thanks,
Bib

Okay, heads off. No sign of any gasket issues at all. Intake gaskets look fine. Now I'm nervous. Where the hell did the coolant come from?
