1967 Dodge Coronet 440 RT engine

I am interested in purchasing a 1967 Dodge Coronet RT that I believe has a 440High Performance
engine. The VIN and Data Plates have been checked out and it shows that this car came from the factory as a RT 440 HP car. I amconsidering buying it. I have attached a photo of the engine compartment. Ihave several questions about this engine:

1) Can you visibly tell if this is a 440 engine withoutlooking at any codes or casting numbers? How can you tell?

2) I believe that in 1967 this engine should be painted HighPerformance Orange. Looks like it has been repainted. May be more Red thanOrange. Photo does not show color well. Isee a couple of other 67 440 engines onthe internet that are painted the Chrysler Turquoise. What is the correct color?

3) Where is the engine code stamped? I have been unable tofind it. I have been told that it is stamped on the left front of the blockunder the cylinder head. Is this only visible from the underside of the car?

You can tell somewhat by the spacing between the heads It is a 440. Yes it is the wrong color. Who cares It looks great... You would probably have to scrape away the paint off the block to see the #s But on the side of the block it will probably say 440-3 or something like that

Engine code location

Thanks
When you say "side of block". Is that on the driver or passenger side? Is it visible from the top or underside of the car?

The engine build date is stamped on the top of the block behind the timing chain cover unless numbers have been removed. The correct color for the 67 HP block is turquoise.
