69 charger 727 linkage?

69 charger 727 linkage?

Hi all, i have recently been restoring a 69 charger with a tourqe flite trans in it and i was given the car with most the parts in the trunck.. im haveing trouble figuring out how the linkage/drop down cable gets hooked up..i have most of it hooked up but few odds and ends im confused about..i was wondering if anyone could post a pic of there set up so i could copy it..i know it sounds like a dumb question but please help..thanks alot Dana

A basket case Charger? You my friend need a factory service manual, it'll be the best 50 bucks you ever gave Ebay or whoever.... If you have throttle cable and solid kickdown linkage, here is a link to my 4shared account, look for two .pdf titled " Linkage ". It is from the '66 Plymouth service manual, but the bracket looks close, and the procedure looks fine for your application. I don't have the pages from my '69 scanned in. thanks for your help. i relize i posted that question wrong. i was looking for the trans linkage diagram. thanks again for your help, ill have to break down and get a book. The car isent so bad now getting close to firing it up. this just has me stumped because im missing parts. thanks again

Another simple solution is to get the Lokar linkage, or get rid of the linkage all together and put a manual valvebody in
