74 Dodge Charger 318/auto/column shifter linkage question

What is supposed to attach to this bracket? Am I missing a part? I am ordering the correct bushings for the linkage brackets. TY.

The linkage is totally hooked up wrong.. The stud hole in the bell housing should have a stud with a swivel bracket for the kick down, depending on style. The linkage needs to be above the torsion bar The bracket needs to be rotated 180* on the frame - also looks like someone tried to bend it streight..

This car was a nightmare basket case when I bought it. Doesn't surprise me at all that it's hooked up wrong. I am ordering some new bushings and will consult Haynes Repair Manual and other sources. Hopefully, the info you gave me will start to make sense and become clear. TY TNLynn.

Here's a bunch, didn't look close enough to see if one is yours though.

One end of the cross shaft fits into the trans bracket (ORANGE BUSHING SHOWN IN THE TRANS PIX) The other end fits into the bracket that bolts to the frame- the bracket should have an index pin. then one rod goes from the bracket arm to the column other arm goes to the trans if that makes sense ?

The Fury 8 pix 8 for the trans kickdown ???

Coronet 500 hundred it the nail on the head for piture # 1
Looks like you missing some of the linkage there for the lick down.
Piture 2&3 are just Shifter shafts and it looks like all you need are some new bushings...
