'73 Wiper motor

The wiper motor is completely shot, will a motor from a different car fit this? If so which year/car?

You need to let us know if you have a 2 speed motor or variable?
Do you have a early or late model 73?

So I'll give all the info and then you can figure it out.

For 2 way wiper motor for your early model made from June 5th 1972 to Feb. 1 1973
The part number is 3431606.
You can get them from a late 1972 to early 1973 Barracuda, Challenger, Charger, Coronet, Fury, Monaco, Newport, New Yorker, Polara and... what you got.

For the late model, after Feb 1 1973 the part number is 3431718
Your limited to Baracuda, Challenger, Charger, Coronet and... what you have.
Man! Good luck finding one of those

The Variable-speed motor is part number 3431665
will be found in the same late model cars (with variable-speed.)

Let us know what you got. Early or late. 2 speed or variable-speed.

Someone posted a thread about running string inside the car to the wipers....
lame.

2 Speed, I believe it's a late model. -- On a side note, a guy from my block has a '72 Satellite that he believes the motor would fit. If it doesn't he might be able to rebuild it. If he can't whatelse are my options?, I don't think the motor is completely shot, it might just be one of the wiper arms, when I put my wipers on, the driver side goes up, passenger doesn't
