I've used comp cams purple shaft mopar cams and hughes engines cams. If you want to stay with a stock type configuaration I'd recommend going with a comp hydrallic cam. I do really like the 284 mp purple cam, but you need to make the rest of the engine work with that like a good dual plane intake, headers, 2400 or better stall converter. its all a matter of opinion on which brand to use, but picking the size(duration, lift, and overlap-centerline) all depends on the rest of your engine set up. With more info on your set-up people might be able to give you a little more advise

Check out Comp Cams Camquest 6 program, plug in your combination and see what they suggest. Free to down load.

Just from my experience, pick one, and then go ONE size smaller!!!! An over-cammed motor is a miserable son of a bitch to deal with on a daily basis! And mine was a stick! Couldnt imagine if it was an auto!
