Question which gas tank? 73-74 rr's

Someone told me that 74 rr's have a hump in the gas tank. I took mine off and it doesn't have a hump. So which do I buy the one with the hump or without the hump or does it matter?

Hi there, try asking on here http://www.roadrunnernest.com/ or here http://serious-satellite.webs.com/ these sites specialise in late model b bodies, but I've noticed that there is some confusion about gas tanks/trunk floor panels ,my '74 Satellite has a hump in the (rotten) trunk floor, but I don't know if the gas tank has a corresponding hump. I can have a look if you want?
Cheers Doug

Thanks for the reply. I talked to some guys that sell them and they said if mine doesn't have a hump, then a 73 tank will work. We figured out that my roadrunner is an early 74 model being made in 8/1973. I don't know when they switched though.
