Headers on 67 Belvedere 318

I'm thinking about doing headers and duals now and was just wondering how big of a job it would be to install headers? Do I need a lift or can it be done with the car on jacks? In the installation directions it says you need 36 inches of clearance to fit the headers from under? is this true? I also have power steering and it looks to be a VERY tight fit. Any advice guys?

Thanks

you will have to pull motor out I do not know if you will have enough room to put the right header in with a shift or lift with the engine bolted to the trans, clearance is tight
