i was wondering if some one could help me decode my engine block numbers. and tell me what each number means, and is the engine original.

the # on the engine block is HM318R 38981679

THE VIN # IS WH23G2G185917

m= the Mound Road plant
318 = 318 engine
R= regular gasoline
3898 = Day 3898 is Thursday, March 30, 1972 built on this day
to get this number they used a chrysler 10,000 day calender
