help needed to identify charger 1972

Hi, i imported 1972 charger from mexico to finland last month. The thing is that vin of the car is different: it is very short and the plate is on driver side door sill: T2-H15477. Car also has kmh speedo, it must me some kind of export model? Engine is 340. Im trying to figure out what were the factory specs of the car. That same number is also on the old original registration document.

Should still have a VIN on the dash, but it would have an export number I THINK on the support core. Don't quote me..

It doesnt even seem to have the marks from the rivets on the dash where the vin plate should have been.. Have to keep looking.

Cool vin, I have never seen one like that before.
It's a strange configuration for that group of years.

Logic would dictate that the vin would have a "P" in it for export. Also during that group of years the "H" can mean two things depending on location on the tag. The H denotes a Charger Coupe in 71-74 and also the 340 4 bbl 240 hp.
Please keep us posted to anything you find out.

Also can you find block and head numbers ?
Perhaps the block # is 2780930 and heads may be 3418915

Thanks already for everyone trying to help me. I found another number in original bill of sales, 2313785 but i dont know if that helps any further anyway. Intake casting number is 3512100 which refers to 1971 340ci. I´ll be working on other clues...

I found number c-30652 chgd on drivers side exhaust manifold.
there is also 7-digit number on passengers side fender (quite close to hood).
It is not very clear any more how to read it, it might be C202430 (4 may be A as well) or 820a131 (or 620a131). Could it make any sense if the zero was 3 (then 23 would mean the 2dr coupe). Quite an investigation..

Body style proves it is a '72 SE probably not an original 340, the hood is not original, and the taillights are also not original to the SE. The SE was more luxury than preformance, they were available in 318 400 and 440, not 340.

I'm interested on this case because i have also Charger 1972 wich is imported from Mexico in 2010. Vin has only few digits different than this one and none of thosed basic fender tags etc..

Is there any place to decode mexican vins or even someone who could tell me something about mexican chargers in general..

The Mexican built car were very different , the Vin sounds correct to me T2-H15477., you may find a plate welded to the frame rail also with the same # . my friend has a 70 Super Bee [ Duster] all documented with a similar VIN & a plate on the left frame rail

And if someone has same car with hide away headlights please send picture here from the center parts behind the grill.. I think the headlight opening motor is located? Mine is not original and i haven't seen one. I'd like to redo it to make look like original..
