First I have to put an entire new wiring harness in my 69 Sat... I've already contacted ezwiring.com about that.

Since I have to pull out all the wiring anyway I might as well do the headlight conversion at the same time.

What else do I need to know in order to make this as painless as possible?

so in order to do hid's you HAD to change the whole wiring harness? i thought with just upgrading the alternator you were set

 

My fault me clear up what I was trying to say...

I have to replace my wiring harness anyways I'm having too many electrical problems.

What I meant is since I will already have my entire harness out already I'd like to replace my headlights with the HID kit.

Other than the alternator upgrade is there anything else that I'll have to worry about?

 

"HID kit" meaning it has ballasts and everything? should plug&play with stock harness no?
