HOOD SCOOP ??
ok i have a 73 charger with se hood but i have a street hood scoop intake the one with the little butterfly openings linked to the throttle, it has a riser so the thing is out the hood through an opening so i was wondering can you guys throw me some ideas on how to make a hood scoop or what to lay on top of it for the water not to enter my engine compartment , maybe some kind of aftermarket attachment or something , anything !

If you'll do a web search for hood scoops, you'll find literally thousands of different kinds to choose from.
I was building a '64 vette with a blower and wanted something to cover what was sticking thru the hood. On that particular car, I had a '67 big block hood and wanted to keep something looking sorta stock. I split down the sides, raised the top about 4 inches, then fiberglassed it back on to make a scoop. You might think of something along those lines.
You might even have the option of a fiberglass 6 pack hood to cover it, and save a lot of work.
