My Surprise...Right AND left hand lug nuts.

Just found out that my '67 B body has right hand lugs on the passenger side, left hand lugs on the driver's side. Of all the cars I changed tires on back in the 70's, I never ran across this before...now I find it's normal!
Anyhoo...I'm looking for a set of each for the new American Racing Torque Thrust II wheels I'm placing on the car.
Does anyone know of a good source for a nice set of new lug nuts for these new mags?

Thanks!

I would replace the studs on the drivers side to make them right hand. I am not sure if they even offer chrome lug nuts with left hand thread.

Thanks, fivepoint. I know that is an option, but there are left hand chrome lug nuts available...various prices. Looking for someone who might recommend a good brand.

hah! Yes! I was 19 years old with my first Chrysler, my 1968 Fury, when I lost a tire in Nebraska, traveling from northwestern Iowa to Southern California, when I found out about the reverse lugs on passenger side. I tried and tried and cursed and kicked and tried again, all while that big tuna boat was up four feet on the original bumper jack lmao! I happened to lose the tire in front of a diner, so I walked up and grabbed a bite to eat near the window so I could keep an eye on my pride and joy.

Somehow it occurred to me to try turning them backward; I mean, I may as well, the other way sure as hell wasn't working. Went out there and whamo! Skreeeeeeeeeech pop! They broke loose. I was so relieved as I was totally alone and, frankly, more than a little concerned lmao!

But yeah, AutoZone or anywhere else can sell those reverse lugs. If you go to AutoZone, get a gray shirt—your chances are way higher of someone knowing what they are talking about. Don't ask me how I know.
