Parts Needed 1966 Satellite

Hello everyone, I am in need of a good set of seatbelts in black for my 1966 plymouth satellite. I also need a maching set of sideview mirrors (non remote). It is not a show car by anymeans, but the nicer the better. Thanks, Howard

I ask, because the mirror on my car wouldn't stay in place and the owner before me tried to JB weld it in place (don't work, trust me and looks like s@#^!). I ment to post pics and sorry I haven't i'm working 7 days a week, anyway... the mirror glass on my belvedere has a small snap ring on the outer edge of the glass, there is a spring that holds pressure on the back of the mirror... push the center of the mirror glass back and remove the snap ring, the mirror glass and spring will then come out of the mirror housing, there will be a flat strap riveted over a pivet ball and if its like my car you can hold the cup of the mirror in one hand and take a ball hammer and smash the rivets back out tight, before you put the glass back in you will know if the mirror is going to stay tight, them reasemble. I did this to my mirror and haven't had any trouble since. Mitch

Mitch, sorry I havent checked posts in a while. I found these online http://www2.partstrain.com/store/ind...ND(universal:1)

They look just like the original mopar ones that were on the car, I will let you know how they arrive. They were like $30.00 shipped.

The old saying is still true, if it's too good to be true, it's too good to be true. They are hideous plastic remakes that dont even line up, waste of money.

The belts might be tough to locate . 1966 was an odd year because seatbelts were not mandatory on vehicles produced prior to 7/1/66.

Good Point about the date because this hotrod had a set of Gm seatbelts in it. I am going to look at a 67 belvedere tonight, should be similar. Thanks again.

The belvedere had some parts, but unfortunately it was a four door. One thing I discovered today, as I am rushing to finish this car before the fourth of july weekend, is the sail panel chrome (where the vinyl roof would end, if it had one) are broke off on both sides. Seems my body man took a shortcut. If anyone has a set of these. Casting numbers 2574473, and 2574472 (aakf). Please call me I am willing to pay for overnight or at least next day shipping. Car is going to the headliner shop today and he hopes to be done with it by tues at the latest. Let me know, 863-604-2891. Howard.

Also the parts package for these trim pieces may be known as 2584688 & 2584689
