Pushbutton conversion??
Hello,
I'm about to install a pushbutton gear selector in my 1962 Dodge Dart, but my auto-tranny is from 1965 (the last wire tranny). Now, the 1965 tranny doesn't have a separate parking wire and that gives me some trouble. I have read somewhere on internet about a company that convert pushbuttons so one can use the parkingleveler together with a newer tranny.
Does anybody know how it's done?
Thanks!

Try Imperial Services http://www.imperialservices.net/ I think it's about $400 for them to convert you over and they will need you to send in your push button control unit, park lever and brackets to them.
And it takes about 6 weeks and they only do it over the winter months, so hope your not in a hurry, as they won't touch it till November!
