Rescued 73 Roadrunner update

It's Alive!!!! Some of you have been watching me slowly work on my 73 roadrunner. I rescued it from a field in Fernley Nevada last October. I initially rubbed out the orange paint with 28 hours on the buffer. Under the orange was a decent Rally Red paint job.

Lately i've been fighting a bunch of old wiring issues. The previous owner said the car was last started about 9 years ago. It was parked for a couple of years prior to that. The owner said he poured some gas down the carb and started it. He said it ran poorly, but ran. Looks to be a 73 360 with quite a few go fast goodies on it. Has a chrome box, upgraded fuel pump, upgraded coil, edlebrock intake, Holley 4777 double pumper, and cheap headers with 4 missing bolts in the usual locations. I have no idea how many miles are on it or what has been done to it internally.

I installed a new gas tank and sending unit. The old one was encased in rust. I cleaned out the lines, replaced filters, rebuilt the Holley 4777 double pumper that was on there. I pulled the plugs and put some Marine fogging oil in the cylinders about two months ago.

Tonight it started for the first time in many years. It smoked like hell for about 3-4 minutes. After the smoke it cleaned right out and seems to run good. Distributor is set incorrectly and will need attention. Compression test is next on my agenda. I'm freakin stoked!!!!!!!!! Here is a pic of the car from last last posting session here and a pic of the motor. I also bought a stripe kit for it that I'm about to install. Troy in Nevada
