Question Seat back cable on '69 RR

How difficult is it to replace the seat back cable in these things?

My passenger side cable appears to be seized

Tried taking off the flicker **** and cover plate, but didn't see much access short of taking the upholstery apart

I'm still able to flip the seat forward by grabbing the latch at the bottom, but wouldn't mind having it work the way it's supposed to

Are you talking about the cable that runs from the drivers side of the bench seat to the passenger? It runs on the underside unbolt the four nuts from underside of car lift seat up and reconnect its held by a spring that slips on not hard to do.

Umm, I mean the individual cables that run within each seat back to unlock and let passengers get in the back seat.

Here's are some shots of the driver's side for reference....

The one on the passenger side is seized up
