Sway Bars - Yes or N0?
Trying to increase performance for a basically stock (318 auto) 68 Satellite. This months Mopar Muscle Magazine talks about sway bars and disc brakes as an upgrade to improve handling. I am going to make the disc brakes my winter project. Does anyone have an opinion on sway bars? What should I expect in terms of performance? Should I go with the reccomended retailers they mentioned (just suspension) ?

Here is the piece on sway bars
Though often overlooked, the suspension of our Mopars contributes greatly to handling, braking, and acceleration performance. There are many suppliers of Mopar suspension parts, including Just Suspension and Performance Suspension Technology, and most have front and rear sway bar kits in addition to the standard rebuild parts. Sway bar kits are easy to install, and only cost a couple hundred bucks. For the money, a sway bar kit will noticeably improve your Mopar's handling, and can improve stopping performance as well.

sway bars WILL help with handling and if you do not have them, GET THEM! They keep the body more solid and stable. you will feel less body roll in corners. do not get hollow bars though. if you have hollow bars, upgrade to solid bars as think as you can get them. also get poly bushings and a great set of sway bar links. I have driven enough vehicles without sway bars, with hollow bars and with solid bars and one upgrade I do to almost all vehicles is swap out/install solid sway bars.
