Question 1966 Plymouth Fury III 4 Door Sedan Brake Pedal Return?

Hi,

My baby, Sofia is in the shop because the brake pedal doesn't come back up enough to turn the brake lights off. I can remove the sensor/switch, but then I don't have brake lights, which isn't a good fix. The brake lights drain the battery (this is how I found out it was happening). I don't know if this is a simple as putting in a spring from the pedal to some point under the dash or if I need to replace the spring near the rod coming out of the Master Cylinder. Any advice is greatly appreciated!!

If you didnt find the spring on the floor? Then it may still be hanging up under the dash for you to find?
Take a peek / or have someone take a peek and see if it still hanging there and see if it can reattached...
