1977 Gran Fury - flasher relay?
I've had my Gran Fury for about six months and it is rock-solid, but the signal lights have always acted a little sluggish when I'm running AC, radio, headlights etc. A week ago, the blinkers began slowing, stalling (in the On position), dragging (though they'd go back to normal speed if I was accelerating) . . . this led to their final stand: I'd engage either side and the light would just stay on without blinking. Yesterday, they quit altogether.
Since I haven't had any other electrical problems, I'm assuming we're looking at a dead flasher relay. Which would be simple enough, except that I can't seem to find the thing. It isn't on the fuse cluster . . . I don't see it anywhere under the dash.
I need to remove the part of the dash cover under the steering column this weekend (a mechanic broke the mount for my kill switch), so I'm sure I'll stumble across it soon enough . . . but I need to run a lot of errands today and would like to avoid a traffic stop.
Where should I be looking?
