66 Fan shroud dilemma
So my 70 Superbee has a radiator from a 66 C body with a stamp on top of 2582962. Soo.... I really dont want to spend the mony to replace it with aproper B body 26" 3 row radiator BUT I can't find a fan shroud for a 26" 3 row radiator with 6 mounting holes for the shorud (B body has 4 holes for shroud)
Does anyone have a 66 C body 26" 3 row 6 hole fan shroud? I've spent hours upon hours looking and no remanufactures it. My best bet is to find one online or at Carlisle ina few weeks.
Holes measure about 24.5" left to right on center. The shroud frame turns in. If it turned "out" I could make the B body shroud work.

I just took a floor fan, the box style that just sits on your floor.
Ripped the guts out so I had an empty box, cut it straight through on one side so I could wrap it around the fan then made brackets to mount it to the radiator and the bolted the cut side back together on the bottom.
Works great, cost me Zero dollars.
Yep there are some air gaps, but much better than no shroud.
Joe.
