66 Fury Big Block swap

I keep reading that the "K" member isn't removable in these, or that they have a sub frame.

Car was a slant 6, PO swapped in a 318. I'd like to put a 426 wedge, or a 440 in it. Any ideas on this?

No K member in C Bodies, they are full sub frame cars. You may want to try Schumacher for a motor mount solution. You will also need a big block trans. The bell housing for a small block won't bolt up to a big block.

Hey thanks for the info. "Roger" on the bell housings, I'd like to go with a TKO500... But that's down the road yet, also need an 8 3/4 rearend. Mine has a 7 1/4. Tryn' to figure out how much of a bear this will be.... What/ who is Schumacher?

Anyone know what other bodies have a 8 3/4 that will fit a "C" body? Spring perches not a big deal, mainly talking width, backing plate to backing plate...
