Is this 68 Fury III worth saving from recycle company
I saved some Dodge Aspens from the recyler and saw this Plymouth Fury III which they have set aside. It is all black interior push button A/C, stereo. Looks really good. Someone was restoring and stopped. Some surface rust through primer but body is SOLID. Sorry it's not a very good pic but was concentrating on the other cars. Started right up and sounds good but has a little tapping.
Plymouth Furry III PM43F8D171816
Vin Decode: Plymouth Fury, Medium, 4 door hardtop, 318 230HP, 1-2BBL 8 cyl, Belvidere, IL USA, 17816th vehicle
Can anyone tell me it this is worth saving or not?

Fury III
I can't remember if they said a price for it or not but I picked up one Aspen for $800 and another for $1000 so most likely same range. I know virually nothing about these cars but it is really cool. Wouldn't take much to finish as far as I can tell.
I found an insurance card in it and did some checking. I think it's left over from a divorce and a bankrupt company which would explain how it got to the scrap yard.
Anybody know how much one is worth fixed up? I see alot of two doors and convertables but not many of these.
Since it's not one I collect, I would love to save it and sell it to someone who would restore it.

Check the front sub frame they tend to rust out bad. Lots of parts other wise. Not always easy to sell these real quick so not much potential to make quick money. If the frame is good $1000.oo is spot on for a good running example.

Save it!
Get it. Paint it and enjoy it for a few years. Based on the lack of side molding it looks like a Fury I, not III.
The clicking could be a loose exhaust manifold. I had the same issue.

Hi, if the two door car is worth xxxx dollers and the 4 door is worth somewhat less, you be the judge. All I am saying is that-can you get the money back out of the car if you want to..Good luck.
