68 Newport 3 speed stick
I am about to take delivery on a 68 Newport VIN# CE23G8Cxxxxxx. It has a 3 on the tree. I know that was the standard entry level transmission. Does anyone know how rare that was?

I would guess very rare. I have heard of sticks in both Dodge and Plymouth C-bodies. This is the first time I have heard of it in a Chrysler. Nothing is impossible with vintage Mopars.

Regardless of how rare it is...... it will sound great with some glasspacks! lol

I always like that sound with a manual transmission!
