Hi, anybody know where i can get a front door hinge spring for my polara, it sits on the lower hinge to hold the door open when getting in/out, it broke the other day and cant seem to find one anywhere. Looks pretty similar to the springs that hold the brake shoes, can I use one of those instead?

 

my guess is the brake spring will be to tight. another guess is, if it looks like the same spring off of an other chrysler it might be the same. but dont try to weld springs. that will mess up the temper, and it WILL break
