Looking for my grandfathers 66' Newport. Sold in 2010!

Hey everyone. So back in 2010, my family sold my grandfather's 1966 Chrysler Newport 383 Hardtop. We sold it through eBay motors and was told by the buyer that it was being shipped overseas, presumably the Netherlands. Yea... so far hopes aren't very high. Now I don't remember what eBay account I used, but I tried contacting eBay today. They looked through both my accounts and were very helpful as far as searching for me. They dug all the way back to all of 2010 and searched through all my transactions. Unfortunately, they couldn't find the posting for the car. I have no VIN or plate numbers, and the best I could find was the registration number on the windshield from 85.... This leads me to believe that I possibly used another eBay account I cannot remember, or they possibly missed it. Probably the former... I was hoping to get a snapshot of the listing with possibly the VIN, or maybe the user name of the eBayer I sold it to. After reactivating an old yahoo email address, I did manage to retrieve the buyer's email. I tried emailing them back in 2012 about the car, but got no response. I did again today, but I'm not expecting anything back. He might no longer use that email, and it also confirms that the car probably did go to the Netherlands, as it was a .nl address. Anyway, I'm not sure what I'm really looking to accomplish right now. I would love to at least get an update on the car, maybe some pics. I would love to buy it back if that was an option, but I'm not really expecting it to be. The reason I'm looking for it is that I'm really into cars now, (mostly Chevy, I have an Ls swapped 3rd gen Camaro, please don't hate me ), and just started working on them when we sold that car. I actually got the thing running and moving after sitting for 26 years, so it sucked having to then let it go! Anyway, I'm not really sure what I can do once I get the VIN, but I figure that's the first place to start. My family members are also going to look for any old paperwork on the car, so hopefully, that leads somewhere. I'll attach some pics if my new membership allows, as well as a youtube video link that I posted back in 2010 when the car was listed on eBay. Thanks in advance for any help or tips!!! Also sorry if I posted this in the wrong place, I'm still learning the site.
