How do I get my car's history- previous owners, etc.?
Hi all!
I bought a 68 Plymouth Fury III convertible 8 years ago from a man in Atlanta I cannot find. I have heard about the Chrysler registry doing research on your vehicle via the VIn for a fee but was unable to turn anything up online. I was hoping to get in touch with the previous owners and possibly get some stories, photographs, etc. Anybody have any ideas of have had any success with this?
Any help would be much appreciated.

I actually went through a bunch of paperwork this morning and found a receipt for the deposit with his wife's name and address on it. I located him on whitepages .com and talked with him for about a half hour about the car. He worked with a woman whose husband bought it with a bunch of other stuff and then sold everything seperately. He ended up buying the car from him. He couldn't remember the name of the woman but gave me his email address and I sent him some pictures. He has already responded with pics of his latest project (1994 Chrysler Maserati TC)saying that he would try to remember the name of the woman and would get that to me if he could. Very nice old man- good to catch up with him.
Still looking to find old records soemhiw with the VIN- any help out there?

I'm not sure about else where, but in Washington they won't tell you ANYTHING..
Any 68 I've seen was in the glove box. My 67 Fury didn't have one but I suspect it was on the driver side inner fender.

Here you go:

Email: dms166@chrysler.com
Fax: (313) 252-2928
I emailed them my VIN to see if they had record of my car. Once I got notification they could decode it I sent them $45 and this is what I got back:
