1971 Hemicuda conv (what else is new)
Hi everyone,
I know there's much discussion on the 11 Hemicudas built in 71. The best one for info so far is the one I have listed here: http://groups.msn.com/426HemiConvert...iblesinfo.msnw
With that said, I have seen (either in person, internet, or in magazine) 8 of the 11 within the past few years. Can anybody help me with the other 3?
They are:
BS27R1B126869 This is another Bright White one, but not the one with the black billboard that sold a couple years ago. I need any info on options not covered at the website posted above. Example: wheels, radio, outside mirrors. This car also shows a V5X code (side moulding). Is this correct or is it an error for a V6X (billboard)? This one is also an auto trans, but it shows no console? Column shift?
BS27R1B187006 This car is Butterscotch, wheels, road lamps or turn signal indicators are my only questions here. But this car also shows a V5X, should it be V6X, I gotta know.
BS27R1B295949 This one is Curious Yellow, not the Lemon Twist car. I need to know grill color, wheels, outside mirror option(s). This car also shows no radio, road lamps, or turn signal indicators on the fenders.
More questions (how many am I allowed):
The Winchester Gray one shows no code for a billboard, but it now wears one.
The other White car, that sold recently, has fender turn signal indicators, but they're not on the tag.
I could go on forever, any help would be greatly appreciated. I think I attached a pic of some of my work. I'm a master model builder who is trying to finish up my latest project, all 11 Hemicuda convs. Since then, I've been casting torqueflites and standard interiors till I'm B5 blue in the face! Thanks again guys.
