8.75 REAR END

I had new bearings and seals put on my 8.75 rear axles. The one side has a locking pawl which adjusts and sets the axle end play. How do I know when to lock it in place, I'm not certain on where the locking pawl should be placed in order to achieve the correct amount of end play. Any tips~

Here's the info you requested. You need .013-.023 inch end play. Remember you need to make this adj. wih the right side tire not touching the floor.
Turn the adj. clock-wise until both wheel bearings are seated and you have .000 in. of end play. Back off adjuster counter-clockwise aprox.4 notch's. Tap the end of the left axle with a soft faced hammer to seat the right wheel bearing cup against the adjuster.Rotate the axle a couple times ,check the end play again and adj. if needed. Repeat until end play is correct.

If you have any other question's drop me a note.
