They ALL light up...

looking for a shortcut here. The previous, previous owner that "restored" my kit car choose to put a tilt steering column in it (mopar unit). However, the turn signal switch must be from a "all lenses are red" car, like pre- 78 F bodies, etc. Here's the rub, when I hit the brakes, the rear turn signals light up with the brake lights. The turn signals work perfectly as do the hazards under all conditions, just light up with the dang brake lights. So I'm looking at all the wires coming from the switch in the column and thinking..logically, there must one or two I can just cut and kill them lighting with the brake signal.
Sure, I will swap the column with a satin black, correct one from a RR, R/T, but for now, anyone have any thoughts on clipp'in one or two of these?
