running light but no brake light?
hey everyone i have an issue my running lights work but the drivers side brake light wont. have changed the buld and still nothing i drive a 65 300 any ideas?
If the signal lamp on both sides works, but one or both brake light does NOT, it is in the column signal switch.
Get into the kick panel, see where the rear harness comes up into the kick panel from the sill, and follow it to a connector. Probe that connector with your test lamp. Use a wiring diagram to find the left and right signal lamps. Check both left and right signal, and then check them both for power with brake pedal depressed.
If one side has power and the other does not, it is the signal switch
You can download 64 and 66 Chrysler service manuals here:

It appears to me that tail lamps should be black
left and right turn are brown and dark green
