1976 Plymouth Volare

Hi all I just found a car at a local used car lot in town. I went to look and see if they still had a 73 Sat and they still have that car but I stumbled across a 76 Volare.

http://www.donovansusedcars.com/vehi...75033526.shtml

I wanted to get everyones take on it. Tell me what you think of it and what I should look out if I go to look at this car.

Where are the trouble spots on these cars?

Tell me anything and everything I should know about the Volare. Thanks everyone.

Looks like a nice ride. Take your CSI flashlight and look under the hood along the A pillars, in the trunk behind the lower wheel wells. If they will let you, put it on a lift and look at the sub frame connectors. Crawl under and look/ feel around the lowest portion of the floor pans. If the price is good for you and it's what you want are questions you answer for yourself.

I posted on another board and someone pointed out some areas of rust that I missed. They own Volares and saw right away trouble spots. The price is steep and one they wont budge on.

I think I may go back and look at the 73 sat thats one they have had for atleast 6-8 years and the price on that $4500 but could be talked down on it.

I will go and take a look at it and see. I wish I bought a 67 Barracuda they had but it needed quarters and at that time parts where hard to come by........hmm I wonder if they still have that one as I never saw it sell.
