I just picked up a 1968 D-100 this past monday. So far i love it but i was curious if there was a company out there that specialized in original reproduction parts for this vehicle in particular. I'd like to restore it to as close to original as possible. Its a 318 3-speed car with all the original equipment and 130xxx miles. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Give Year One a try, they may have some parts. Other than that, e-bay is going to be your friend. I have found a lot of stuff for my 78 d200 on there and i could not find anywhere else.

I just went to this forum looking for just this topic (I have a 69 d-100). Ebay does not have nothing for the 68-71 trucks. Ebay does have weather stripping window run channels. I am needing front marker lenses, mirrors, headers (that are not $500) and other odds and ends. I cant findstuff for it anywhere.
If you find a place to get the stuff please let me know.

Only other places I can think of may be craigslist and local junk yards. Heck, you ay have to go to out of state junk yards that are farther south. I've noticed that junk yards down south have a lot more older vehicles than the ones up my way.

and as for headers - unless for some reason you have a poly 318 (which was only put in those trucks until 1966) headers will fit right in and you can get cheap ones designed for your truck from summit for like a $155.
heres the websites that are NECESSARY for all sweptline owners:
www.sweptline.com
www.sweptline.org
and heres the page that has the exhaust header part numbers at the bottom. im using the headman headers for my 360 in my 67 truck with a true dual exhaust with 2 1/4 pipes and they work pretty well and everything just bolted right in. (i had bought the truck with the exhaust like that however ive been under there enough times to see everything)
