Powerwagon headers
I have a 1970 power wagon that I swapped a 440 into and I was wondering if anyone knows where to get headers for it? The problem I am having is the steering column runs right next to the exhaust and I cant find any skinny enough. Any help would be appreciated.

Contact Hooker headers or Summit racing 1-800-230-3030 and talk with thier tech guys, They may have what you need and are good to deal with.

Another suggestion is to get the 383 headers and have a muffler shop add to the tubes to clear the steering.

1972-93 was the Lifestyle pickups and were much different from the 61-71 Sweptline era pickups. Engine blocks were the same (Poly notwithstanding) but the engine compartment, power steering location etc is completely different on the Lifestyles.
On my 68, W200 383 Sweptline, I got the Hookers and only had to make slight adjustments for them to fit. On a D100/200 no mods would have been needed.
My 69 W200 (avatar) has an old Poly in it with DTA headers and they are sweet!!!

this page and website has what you need. look at the bottom of the page for the part numbers. then look up the part numbers at summit racing.

hey I currently have that truck I got it about 2 months ago it’s currently at a body shop getting some body work on it and paint do you have the story behind how it was when you had it and if what car the 440 is from and what year ?

Start by looking at the damper to see if it's internally balanced. Take a look at the flat pad in front of the valley pan also for stamping. You can find information on IDing the block online. Google is your friend.
