1953 Chrysler Sedambulance

I came across this car while looking at another car. The owner is willing to sell but I know nothing about it. How many were made? Value? Worth restoring? I took a few pictures and will post them.

Thanks
Jason

should be a regular 331 hemi, 2 bbl carb. most likely has the extended block, not in demand. but the frame might be on an Imperial frame. but may be not cause the valve covers dont say Imperial. it has a very heavy frame. the side glass is flat, being easy to replace. the big Q is, is it all there?

I was told the car is on a new yorker frame. The car is complete except for the hood ornament.

Thanks

Re Sedambulance

I susepct that these big cars use rarer, less produced parts that were also used on the Limo’s, Imperials and such. These parts are hard to find and expen$ive.

In the end, once restored you will have a rare car, that will have a lot invested in it, however may not be very popular or desirable. Sure it’ll sttract spectators. Ooohs and awes. But the thick wallet buyer maybe hard you find when the time comes where you are ready to move it.

Just my .02 cents worth.
