looks great so far! that cant be a '62 318 in the picture. Only polysphere 318's were made in '62. Anyway, HP guess, 330 or so if its set up right. (pretty serious tat dude!) I have always like those old Dodge Pickups.
|
i dont know what a polysphere is but o baught the 318 as a short block 318 and the paper said its a 62 i believe thanks
|
If you can get the casting numbers off the block, I'm sure that someone here can de-code it and tell you what year (maybe even the date) that is was made.
Very nice looking truck. |
ill check the numbers when i get home on friday
she will shift in to 3rd ar 106 mph and after that you cant hold on to it |
i know the engine is a 60s and i do realize what a poly is and mine is not i wish it was so it must be a 68 or 69
|
Welcome. I think that your project is great!
I used to drive a '54 Dodge like yours 2 tone bluegreen and white with a factory 318 poly and a granny 4 speed that wasn't synchro into 1st or 2nd, 6 volt system and the truck came with only one taillight when new. It was a lot of fun! |
took it down to the tranny shop yesterday to get the tranny fixed ive had it rebuilt 2 times and it still leaks idk what the heck is wrong but it killed me to drive it down the road wit 2 feet of snow on each side
