Need some help--1948 Chrysler NY'er

Good morning. I'm new to this site, but thought it would be a good place to get some advice. I'm looking at buying a 1948 Chrysler New Yorker 4 Door Sedan. It's in great shape, and I wanted to know from anyone out there if you think it's a good price or not.

Here's the link to the car. It was on ebay but the auction expired. You should still be able to access the pictures though.

I negotiated the price down to $15,000. The owner was very stubborn about it (he's selling on commission with the company that listed it). NADA says that an excellent vehicle should go for around $12,000, but I don't know how accurate that is, and usually NADA is high, but in this case seems to be the opposite.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Two things.
1. Do not buy it over the internet. Fly or drive out there and check it out for yourself. Pictures don't show everything.
2. NADA is not good at pricing old cars. The seller can ask what ever they want and you can pay what ever you think the car is worth. Please do number one first.
