2008 Dodge Ram
I leased a new Ram just before the world went nutz, so have almost two years down and 1 to go. I really like the 09's, but need some convincing before i give this back next year and actually buy a new truck.
I need to know that the quality has improved. This truck, while to me the best looking truck nuilt in 2008, has been a mechanical nightmare, all warranty of course, but silly and annoying. So far;
-Transfer case blew a bearing (no, I didnt abuse 4WD or use fulltime on dry pavement)
-Both outer tie rods replaced
-Both front struts replaced (now it sounds worse, they didnt use new crush sleeves, so back it goes)
- Both rear shocks replaced (this happened after 1 week on the road)
I know there is more...
I am glad I am only leasing this thing. I hear the 2009 is leaps and bounds better. Ok, so, convince me!

I have no idea if it is really that much better but I do love the body styling of the 09 over the 02-08. I was thinking about actually trading in my Dakota for an 09 1500 but I just got an ATV and am collecting parts for a future project.
