You can but you should throw in a performance camshaft, larger injectors and have the computer retuned to get the most out of it. While your at it, get rid of the dome style intake for a FI intake with actual runners. You will spend some money on machine work and parts.

How much are you limiting this project to? What are you going to be putting the motor into and what will the vehicle be used for?

yes you can put a 360 crank in a 318 but you need to turn the main bearing journals down to the size of the 318. also it might be a problem finding pistons. you could mill the top of a set of trw's I guess. The heads will bolt on no problem.

That's what I was thinking but wasn't completely sure.

hey, check this out. The newer 5.7 hemi was almost exactly this configuration as far as the bore and stroke combo go, a 360 crank and a 318 piston size comes out to 349. Yep, 5.7 litres.
