96 dodge ram 1500

I have a 96 dodge ram 1500 318 CI
it intermittently STALLS at traffic lights and stop signs
it also intermittently STUTTERS at highway speeds
The IAC is new, The throttle body is clean
ANY IDEAS

That's a tough one to fix... Kind of need a Diagnostic tester to see what dropped out when it happens....
Is the check engine light on?

nope no codes
I have a snap on mt2500
everything checks out ok

I still us that scanner when I can...
I don't the IAC is active at Cruse speed...
Drive it and look at the TPS see if its dropping out.

Also Look at the Converter lock up.....

Make note... On the drive if your MT2500 flickers when it happens... Look for a ground issue?

Did the Troubleshooter have any leads?

I wish you could still get updates for that tool... I got mine up to 2001 or 2

I also use a Modis... But now you cant get those updated.... So I am now moving over to the ZEUS... Try out the wireless....
